[accordion-item title=”How long has the Beverly Woods Fishing and Hunting with Kids Foundation been in operation?”]
The founder Kent Woods and numerous friends started this foundation on behalf of his late mother, Beverly Woods (1948-2014). Kent explained that his mother always had a special place in her heart for kids; therefore, he was inspired to dedicate his quality time and efforts to changing the lives of kids with diverse/adverse backgrounds through hunting and fishing. Since starting the foundation in 2015, over 130 kids have been afforded the opportunity to enjoy hunting and fishing trips throughout North America.

Yes. We provide hunting and fishing trips of a lifetime to kids between the ages of 6 to 16yrs old. On a case by case review, the foundation will consider children who don’t meet the age criteria or who may have special disabilities.

Our hunting and fishing events are all-expense paid to include but not limited to; lodging, food, hunting, fishing, etc. It is the parent and or legal guardian’s responsibility to arrive at our headquarters located in Nashville, TN., or to the exact location where the event will take place. We reserve the right to provide families with travel assistance on a case by case review.

We sincerely care about each child that we take on our hunting and fishing trips of a lifetime. We encourage everyone with various backgrounds to apply, especially those with extenuating circumstances. You will need to fill out the online application for consideration. If you are selected we will notify you by phone or email.
